PQMS DOCTRINE

UK Commission for Consistent Learning (UK-CCL) which is a limited by guarantee as a Non-Profit Quasi Charity with the Incorporation No 05396290 in Great Britain and monitors the Knowledge Professional Quality Management Standards (PQMS) either through the National and Regional Offices (CCL-NO/RO) or directly via UK-CCL HQ in compliance with procedures as laid down by UK-CCL PQMS 5001: 2005.

The aim of UK-CCL is not only to enrich professional knowledge learning but also to preservethe professionalquality management standards. As such, UK-CCL strives to adopt appropriate methods of learning and assessment to suit individual circumstances. While we pay homage to Darwin for his theory of evolution, we feel that a parallel tribute could be paid to the Founder and Honorary Executive Governor Prof. Ralph J Thomas for his eminent visualisation of this vital vision, mission and theory, which he has been involved in, since 1989to date. He has faced many hurdles, objections and he has overcome all of them, due to his sincere commitment to Professional knowledge Qualifications that are considered certified and take into account Work Experience, which will no one refute. Prof. Ralph’s theory of understanding is “Professional Knowledge Qualifications for Career Evolution’- a revolution far from the old oratory. The old school way of thinking paradoxically predicted gloom on new concepts like Professional Education for Career Evolution”. His personnel emphasis is that each individual has to earn his or her expected qualification based on Hands on Learning.

UK CCL’S ASPIRATIONS


  • To encourage PROFESSIONALS Worldwide with the available resources through structured quality assessment, examinations, work based tutorialtraining channels, to achieve      their objectives in life via the Work Orientated Knowledge Experience Learning (WOKEL).

  • To recognise and validate prior hands on work experience learning and recommending candidates for appropriate Professional Knowledge Qualifications under the scheme of      Affirmation of Prior Experience and Learning (APEL) and Accreditation of Career Progress Development (ACPD).


UK CCL’s main aspiration is not only to help matured working candidates to better themselves but also to serve the world through its Council of Consistent Learning, Consortium of Certified Learning, Commission for Community Learning, Congress for Commitment in Learning, and Corporation of Consistent Learning.

  • A In an age when specialisation and also flexibility are essential, there is a need for professional and vocational education to be broad and comprehensive, as learning is a life-long      process.

  • B To improve professional and vocational education, maintain quality policies and practices, to enable appropriate methods of learning.

  • D Permit the Verified Institutions and Organisations to enter into a dialogue with each other and to learn from one another in a Professional Networking manner.

  • E UK-CCL believes that international cooperation’s can help higher learning institutions from different nations to learn from each other, without any dwindling of their social      autonomy.

  • F UK-CCL will negotiate between institutions and organisations of higher learning and/or candidates and offer solutions to resolve professional knowledge educational      predicaments, when deemed necessary.

  • G Assurance of Professional Knowledge Learning Quality, reliability, administrative responsibility and capability of the Verified institutions. UK-CCL Professional      Quality Management Standard Seal is a pledge to employers and other business establishments that has acquired necessary quality standards have been met.

  • H UK-CCL believes in improvement through the self-study process, providing Professional and Vocational educational training institutions with considerate analytical assistance to      act upon their own solutions and strategies for improvement. This will help maintain effective checks and controls to cultivate public confidence and improvement.
